Cannot edit the name of a song in my iPhone Music App Library

The iPhone’s Music App will not let me correct the name of a song in my Music App Library.  I can open the album and locate the song, but when I click the "…" (3 dot) icon to the right of the song name, the EDIT option is missing from the pop-up menu.  The pop-up menu displays “Favorite”, “Add to Playlist”, “Play Next” and other options, but there is no EDIT option in the pop-up list.  (I am using iOS 26.0.1 on my iPhone 16 Pro.)
