I have an iPhone 15 pro max and it keeps playing an audio from a video i recorded and deleted in the background. I deleted the video and even restarted my phone 3 times and it randomly starts playing that sound even when nothing is open, and over my music or audio books. It is weird since I deleted the video so not sure why the sound is still playing.

I found out the solution, it turns out it was Snapchat video when I was recording something but forgot to send. Even when the app was closed it kept playing on loop. So send out that snap video or cancel and it would resolve, at least from what I experienced.

Update to iOS 18.7.2 *was* available for me to download & install. I did and the issue resolved. Good luck to all.
Sidebar: I will not voluntarily update to iOS 26, as I’ve heard too many complaints.

Update the iOS:
I see you have iOS26 installed. So, backup your iPhone, and then update the iOS to iOS26.1. See if that does the job. On your device (iPhone 15 Max), you have two options, other than updating fireclay on an an iPhone:

Back Up your iPhone First: Make a backup of your iPhone using iCloud or your computer. That way you can have something to restore you iPhone from, should anything go wrong with the update.
I’m having the exact same problem. I deleted the video and it’s still playing the audio in the background. I restarted the phone and it still didn’t fix the issue. I can’t even play audio from other videos because instead all I hear is the random audio from the video
I have the same issue since 11/28/25 on iPhone 13, as well as the phone being slightly slower in response to commands on same day since audio issue started. I’ve also tried everything that everyone else has tried. No relief.
Update: tried deleting the video from the “Recently Deleted” album as well and that didn’t work either.
I’m having this problem now, were you able to fix this issue on your phone?
