Home WiFi network disappeared, all Apple devices

Our home WiFi network name has inexplicably disappeared, therefore unable to connect to WiFi, from the list of available networks on all our Apple devices (iPhone, iPads, MacBook & Apple TV) but is still visible and connected on two Windows laptops, an Android phone and Samsung TV. I initially went through the process of resetting the network settings on my iPhone 16 Pro, and when that didn’t work, checked the rest of the devices to see that it wasn’t just my iPhone. Devices were connected earlier today but upon returning home from being out, nothing will connect, network name has vanished.

What could cause this and how do I proceed? Thanks for any assistance.

Try restarting the router. Unplug for 30 seconds, then plug back in. Further troubleshooting will require the model of the router and if you have access to delete and add another WiFi network to be broadcast to your devices.

ISSUE RESOLVED - We had to call our provider and, although they say don’t know what happened, they were able to bring back our connection. Thanks for the insights.

We have unplugged to reset the router a few times already, keep thinking that this next time is gonna do it. The weird thing is that I’m continuing to watch streaming TV via the Samsung TV, but unable to connect the Apple TV box.

Did you define an access list on your router only allowing the MAC adresses of your

phones and computers?

Did you change anything on your Wi-Fi router recently?

Do you know if your router is configured with DHCP to manage your Wi-Fi network?

Well, a bit after I posted this, the Internet connection was completely lost. I guess my Apple devices were foreshadowing? 🤷🏼‍♀️
