Sub to Chatgpt+ Through Apple, Wanting to Change Chatgpt email account

Ok, so I have a chatgpt+ account subscribed through apple store, my chatgpt+ associated email is an isp email address, which I will be losing. I know I cannot change my email address in chatgpt, so I created a new free chatgpt account with a gmail account. I then went into my iphone (still having chatgpt signed in with old associated isp email), cancelled, the subscription to chatgpt+ through the iphone, logged out of my old chatgpt account, logged into my newly created one, then when I went to subscribe to chatgpt+, it just said renew (as it was ending Nov 23rd). However, after I renewed it, my new gmail chatgpt account still says free, but if I log into my old account, it still says Im a Plus subscriber. Do I need to cancel the paid sub again, wait til the 23rd has past, then subscribe again under the new account, or is there just a waiting period for this to kick in?
