How to permanently disable the 'Stop Playing' timer option on iPhone?

The timer option has a new default option called Stop Playing. I never use it and I have a different tone listed as default but every time I set a timer it automatically set to stop playing. It’s getting annoying having to change it everytime I set a timer. Is there a way to permanently change it so I don’t have to every time!!
