CarPlay & Siri Issues with iOS 26.1 and iPhone 17 Pro Max

I’m on a new iPhone 17 Pro Max and updated to 26.1 hoping that it would resolve my wireless CarPlay issues (and random Siri issues!). Most specifically, Siri seems to get ‘stuck’ when responding to texts via CarPlay. Sometimes it captures words I never said, sometimes it gets stuck and keeps repeating ‘you said…’ without actually being able to stop it or send the text. I have to cancel out of it. I have tried forgetting my car and relinking it with CarPlay. I’ve restarted the Infotainment system as well as my iPhone multiple times to no avail. I’ve also experienced random Siri issues as well. Siri not responding even when not connected to the car! 26.1 did not fix any of my issues!
