Hi, I have just received a brand new MacBook. There is a strange envelope attached. What is the purpose of this thing?

On mine, bought last March, it had a small one-page intro flyer and a health/safety info sheet:
and it opens from the side, not the end. Only Apple knows why they use the corrugated stiffener.

Very general and very Zen Typical. The pages are so thin that you may have missed them. I had to look twice to find mine just now! (After I remembered where I put the empty box!)
