After upgrade to Tahoe, plugged in keyboard no longer working

Just got a Mac mini, M4. Using a docking station with it. Have an apple usb keyboard plugged into the docking station as well as a wireless mouse. Everything was working fine until I upgraded the OS to Tahoe, now the keyboard no longer works, but the mouse still does. Even tried getting a usb to usbc connector to connect directly to the mini, still no luck. How do I fix this since I can't log into the computer to change any settings.
