Delete the app and reinstall it. Or, use the Apple Calendar app. It works very well with a Gmail account.
You're free to disagree, but that won't alter reality. Developers, including google are given ample access to beta builds of iOS to tend and make sure their products function as intended.
Apple can't fix google's code. It is not impossible that it is, in fact, a bug in iOS. However, we can't fix that as we are not Apple. this is a user forum.
I dońt agree. It´s a problem with the ios upgrade, not with Google. Apple normally would check that its upgrades do not prevent other user apps from working.
What did google support say when you reported the problem to them?
Apple doesn't own Google. If their calendar isn't working as expected, that's a Google issue, not an Apple issue.
how does the apple calendar app work well with a gmail account?
I did reinstall the app, and yes, I could use Apple calendar, but if I choose to use Google, the Apple system upgrade should not make that impossible. It worked fine before the ios upgrade.
They all seem to work perfectly well with each other, normally.
I’m struggling to get on to them, but will keep trying.
I have reported the issue to Google and hope they can fix it. Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions and advice.
