My iPhone was stolen. After changing my Apple account, it was unlinked from Find My. How do I relink my phone to Find My?

Hello everyone! My iPhone was stolen from my pocket on November 17th. For the first three days, my iPhone was easily tracked in Find My. But then the scammers tried to access my Apple account. I immediately changed my password, and then I received a notification that my iPhone had been unlinked from Find My and would be removed on December 18th.

Please tell me what to do in this situation and how to relink my iPhone to Find My so the police have all the information they need. I have all the receipts and the original iPhone box.

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26

Sorry, but if you removed your phone from your Apple Account, or fell for a phishing scam and gave the scammers the means to do so, you can’t remotely turn Find My back on.

The criminals will now be able to reset your phone and “make your phone their own” for their own use, or to have a useful phone for resale. The best you can do is to report the theft to the police and your carrier, and ask your carrier to blacklist the phone.

Thanks for the reply, but I guess I didn't convey my thoughts correctly.

My phone is still linked to my Apple account. It still shows up as my device in my MacBook's settings. Literally an hour after the incident, I put the phone in Lost Mode and gave the police all my details. The only thing that happened was that after changing the password, the Find My feature was disabled. That's why I contacted Apple support to see if there was a way to remotely re-enable Find My on my device.
