Unable to AirDrop from iPad and Mac to iPhone after iOS update

I updated my iphone 12 mini to ios 28.1 today. I can no longer send airdrop from either my ipad 9 (ios 18.7.2) or my mac mini (ios 15.6.1) to the phone, but I can still receive from the iphone on both devices. (and both ipad and mac mini can send and receive ti each other).
