Apps and touchscreen issues after iOS 26.1 update

Updated to iOs 26.1 (23B85) and now several apps are no longer working. Can I fix this? Also finding that the touchscreen is not quite the same either. Need to double tap in order to open some apps.

First try a forced restart, if that doesn't work reinstall the app or see if there is an updated version of the app that works with the new iOS. If that doesn't work contact the app developer for help with their software.

Also, Apple just released iOS 26.2 today, try updating the iOS.

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
