I just started getting this today:
No updates, no new plugins, literally nothing has changed. Been working on a mix for a week, everything is fine and out of the blue this, and no way to resolve it. Any new thoughts on this subject (I've scanned past topics on this matter).

Update, after selecting the "recover" option above multiple times, it then goes to this screen:
Then it proceeds to just hang on this screen and keeps spinning.
What happens if you choose "quit" instead of recover?
You can find some hints about the plugin that causes the issue in Utilities > Console > crash reports.
Some vendors provide plugin updates. Maybe not related to your issue: I'm using Sequoia 15.7.2
SO ODD! I started the same session today, and everything loaded fine, except the Logic UI changed on me. I don't have the M or S for mute and solo, I have icons for the speaker with line through it and the headphones for solo. What is odd is that I didn't update Logic.
Another gripe on top of this is, can I get the old M for mute and S for solo back?
To reenable the display of the Mute and Solo buttons on your tracks, you may need to revisit the "Configure Track Header" window.
Select any track and then press option+T (⌥T).
Check mark the box for the appropriate controls you'd like to display.

Go to Logic Pro >Settings > Advanced and tick the box to Enable Complete Features
