Apple Watch Messages: Unread selection missing after update

Iwatch updated to iwatchos 26.2

now the selection of selecting unread messages is gone…?! If it is some where how can I turn it on.

if it has been removed, bad move from Apple imho.

If it is still there, where do I find it?
