Apple Card Discounts and Cashback

Apple Card provides 3% cashback on Apple products (I guess)...

  1. Does it have to be purchased from an Apple Store only or buying from an authorized reseller also gives the 3% cashback?
  2. Does the 3% cashback work worldwide or only in the US?
  3. When buying a device from an Apple store using Apple Card, there is an option for EMI (or maybe 0% EMI). Is it applicable only if buying in the US or other Apple stores globally too (just using the Apple Card) ?

If Apple were to introduce a co-branded credit card offering airline points in collaboration with specific airlines such as Alaska, United, or Delta or provide a flexible points card similar to those offered by Chase Sapphire, Amex Platinum, or Capital One Venture that allows for transferring points to airline partners, I would be inclined to sign up for the Apple Card. Such a product would be particularly beneficial for earning travel rewards, gaining access to airport lounges, and enjoying various flight benefits.

Thank you,

I have better cards too. Use what works best for you. If it’s not Apple Card, great that you have a card(s) that provide better benefits. Some people will find it beneficial and some won’t. Some people prefer a simple card system of a couple of cards, others prefer card systems more complex in order to not leave money on the table. I used to have 25+ cards in my Apple Wallet, now I’m down to less than 10. Yes, a few dollars got left, but there’s more to life than playing the credit card rewards game.
