Apple News on dock of Mac Tahoe: macOS 26.2 continually shows "loading" with the little circular spinning sprocket, but never opens. It MAY have started after installing 26.2 but not sure.
Did a force quit and restart but same problem. Apple > System Settings > iCloud > All > News toggle: turned off and then on but problem persists.
Did a repair of Macintosh HD on Utilities but same results.
Apple News on iPhone 16e 26.2 works fine.

Did you try turning it off...and compare your results.
You can drag it off the Dock if that is your issue alone.
