Keeps getting removed from iMessage group chats with Android users on my new iPhone

My imessage thread (with android users) constantly says I leave the chat after anyone sends anything but I remain in the thread. I do NOT want to leave the chat. This only started happening after I switched to my new phone. When switching over phones, I made sure to do everything correctly so that issues like this wouldn’t happen. What can I do to fix this?
