HomePod Siri cannot run shortcuts command on Iphone

Hi, I have a few HomePod minis and I just upgraded to a iPhone 17 pro max with IOS. 26.2 installed. My HomeKit includes many shortcuts and they all worked fine for many years with my IPhone12 pro max. After the upgrade, all HomePod Siri voice command cannot run all the shortcuts anymore when the iPhone 17 pro max is locked or in sleep mode, the HomePod will respond with “I cannot connect to Iphone”. (Siri when locked option is turned on in my Iphone and the shortcuts do not involve any security protocols like opening locks or garage doors). Below are my findings…

1. ⁠All homepod Siri voice command cannot trigger any shortcuts when the iPhone is in lock/sleep mode

2. ⁠When the Iphone is unlocked, everything works perfectly fine

3)When the Iphone is locked and while it is playing some music in the background, everything works fine

Anyone know what’s going on?? Pls help😭😭😭
