Not receiving Gmail on my iMac

Hi, I'm using an iMac on macOS Ventura 13.7.8 For some reason I am unable to receive Gmail. I don't have an issue sending mail. When i go into settings it is showing that the account is off line. I have selected I have selected Bring on Line but nothing happens.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 13.7

The only suggestion I can give you is remove the email account from Mail and add it back into Mail.
