Logic Pro failing to load projects with ARA data (Intel macbook)

Hi,

I'm currently using Logic Pro 10.7.4 on my 2019 Macbook Pro (Intel), Ventura 13.7.4.

My projects keep being corrupted by ARA data, so for example if I use Melodyne or Vocalign in ARA mode, it will work for as long as I have the project open (plugins fully functional), but when I close and then try to reopen it again later it will fail to load and eventually crash. I know ARA is the issue bc this only occurs when using ARA plugins and if I delete ARA data from the folder before loading the project it will work again (although all my changes will be lost).

Since I'm using an Intel rather than Silicon, I was under the impression that ARA was fully compatible? As far as I can tell my Macbook is just failing to load ARA data for some unknown reason. It's going to make my workflow much easier if I can get this to work so I would appreciate a fix if anyone has one. Cheers.

Logic Pro's ARA (Audio Random Access) mode support, especially on Apple Silicon Macs, requires running Logic in Rosetta for most plugins (like MelodyneVocAlign), but you can enable it by right-clicking the app in Applications > Get Info > Open using Rosetta; this lets ARA plugins analyze audio instantly instead of real-time, saving time, though native support is anticipated in future Logic updates.

Good luck
