Duplicate movie showed up in my Apple movie library

A duplicate movie just showed up in my Apple (iTunes) Library. Suddenly I have two copies of the movie "Silverado". One had not been opened or played because it started at the very beginning of the film when I selected it. The other had been watched and started up where I last left off watching it. This was first noticed on my Apple TV 4K set top box.

I'm afraid if I delete one of them that the deletion will delete both of them.

I'm running a MacBook Pro with the latest version of Tahoe.

Anyone else having this issue?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 26.1

The force quit/restart didn't work. The only problem I have with your next suggestion is that I don't want my AppleTVs in the house to have to access the movie from my Mac - especially when my Mac is off. I would rather it reside in Apple's cloud in my account and available for all my AppleTVs and Macs.

And if this weird bug duplicates other movies in my library, I don't want to keep downloading them to my Mac where they will begin to eat up storage space.

But thanks for your help. Cheers.
