After adding details of my Payment. I get a notification that my payment method is not valid. How do I work around that?

Based on your carrier (Airtel Zambia), your country does not have an iTunes Store, which is why you are receiving that message. Until such time as Apple opens a store in Zambia, there's nothing you can do. You can leave feedback at: iPhone Feedback
The first thing to check is your payment method is from the country you are in.
If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support
