No. Apple does not actually give cash for devices in any way. They'll give a gift Card with the estimated value, or a direct credit of the estimated value for a new purchase at the time of Trade In.
How much they give you, will depend on the extent of the damage. If it is too damaged Apple may not be willing to give you anything for it.
