Backing up iphone to a new MacBook
I have a new macbook but used to back up my iphone on an Imac. I want to switch back ups to my macbook, can I just plug it in and say back up and not sync? Thanks. I have Iphone X

When you connect your iPhone to your new MacBook and will open an iTunes, tap "Create a Backup" and it will ask you to transfer purchases :)

In order to complete a backup, you have to merge and transfer the purchases from your iPhone to your MacBook and log in with your Apple ID.
I don't want to sound stupid ( Iam :) ) but How do I do that?
