My IPhone X silent switch

My IPhone X rings when my wife calls with the silent switch on, but will vibrate only when other calls come in?

Vibrate mode not working for incoming calls The vibration functionality of my iPhone 12 does not work for incoming calls. It works for incoming text messages though. All settings in sounds and haptics and in accessibility settings are set properly for this to occur. I can toggle between silent mode on and Ringer and can feel the vibration from the motor.

12 Pro Vibrate/ring Hi...thought we've read all we could on the iPhone 12 Pro but seem to be stumped. We traded the iPhone x for this one. On the X model, we had both ring and vibrate set for when a call came in. On our 12 Pro...if vibrate is on...it only rings twice, where it's loud enough to hear it (along with vibrating), but then it continues to ring very quietly and continues to vibrate until it's answered or goes to voice mail. Is this normal to only ring two times at the high volume? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Is your wife in your favorites list? I'm assuming she is, which explains why it would ring if she calls.

Yes she is. So is there a way to make it not ring. This just started happening, it has not happened before.
