Why itunes will not update my iphone and ipad.
It has always worked before
When you plug your iOS devices into iTunes, iTunes should inform you that it requires an update to proceed ( to communicate with iOS 13).

Is download failed the only error you see? I know on Windows I can select to download only for the update and then update later on. Is that possible on the Mac. I've recently gotten a Mac, but have not worked with my iPhone or iPad on it yet.

I know. No error notice. There is nothing.
I rebooted my computer.
Now it starts the download to update my ipad, then after a while it pops up download failed.
I have decided to update from my ipad,and iphone.
I am not using itunes on my imac to upgrade my ipad, and iphone.
