Cursor zoom

Before i got the iPhone 11, i had the 7plus and i was able to type whatever it was that i was typing, and if i made an error typing i could press down where i needed the cursor to be and it would zoom-in to show me where i am placing the cursor, but now with the new phone, it doesn't do it. Is there a setting that i have to set or is this a glitch in the iOS system??
