Mac App Store freezes！

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) with High Sierra(10.13.1), and every time when I click "Updates" button in App Store, it just freezes, so I can't update anything. What should I do?

apps freeze for a few seconds Hi, I have a new MacBook Air 2020 i5 with 8GB of RAM, from the start I have quiet some issues with the software, first the computer didn't start. Then it was very slow , today it kept rebooting but after updating and consequently reinstalling IOS the system is now stable. But what bothers me is that viewing pictures causes the app to freeze every minute or so . Opening an app goes swiftly but when I want to type a text then it freezes for 4-5 seconds. Just enough to get annoid but not so long that you really can't work. Any suggestions what might be the issue and what could be a possible solution? Anton

Btw, I have tried to clean the cache files/download files, that everything I googled, but it still freezes, really annoying.
