Silence feature

With DND off completely how do you deselect the options of silence when phone is locked or silence all the time? I don’t get notifications like I did before the latest iOS update

Okay I understand that and thank you. However, one more question regarding that is what about the DND while driving aspect? I have mine set to manual and part of my work is driving quite a lot and I don’t always get notifications then. Sometimes they go through most of the time the notifications don’t go through

If you are connected to the head unit in your car with bluetooth or USB and you're listening to the radio (as opposed to streaming audio over bluetooth), you won't hear any notification sounds from your phone because it's routing them to the head unit in the car, which can't play them if the audio source isn't set to bluetooth.
