Photos in Mac are now exporting as jpeg instead of jpg
I can't export as a jpg. It always chooses jpeg. Is this a problem and/or how can it be fixed? I didn't have this problem up until a few weeks ago.

JPG and JPEG stand both for an image format proposed and supported by the Joint Photographic Experts Group. The two terms have the same meaning and are interchangeable. ... So, the file extension was shortened to '.jpg'. However, Macintosh was not limited to three letter file extensions, so Mac users used '.jpeg'

The only difference is the number of characters used.
you can manualy rename the filename extension in the Finder, if you prefer the shorter extension.
