Does apple call you if your I’d is in jeopardy? Or hacked?

It doesn't because Apple has no way to know whether your Apple ID or Password has been comprised. However, there is one thing that helps prevent unauthorized access to your Apple ID and that is through the Two Factor Authentication that you have probably already set up along with your Apple ID. The way this works is when someone (or even yourself) tries to login to your Apple ID through an unknown device then it will send a message to your listed known device(s) for approval with a code. This way if it is not you then you can deny access and the person will not be able to move forward with the login process even if they knew the password. So, in this sense, Apple notifies you and seeks your approval for access through a device that is not associated with your Apple ID.
