Ive lost my AirPods!
I am trying to use the Find My app to locate my AirPods which are currently in the case. Will the sound in the app play even though they’re in the case or will the sound only play while the actual AirPods are outside of it?

They will only play, and you will only be able to locate them, if they are out of the case, have power, are within 30 feet of you, and haven’t been reset. Time to do it the old fashioned way and retrace your steps.
