How can I check the power adapter type for iPad from a new unopened box?

This is not iPad’s model number. While you should not share your device’s serial number on these forums, you can take iPad’s serial number and search the web for a serial number lookup. All iPad models since 2014 have shipped with a 12W power adapter. The exception is the newest iPad Pro models which ship with a 18W power adapter.
