Selfie mode is a little bit strange

Hi i bought this phone11 16 December and my selfie mode is a little bit strange. This is a phenomenon that happens on every phone? And can i change the phone? Please see my picture on upper part

The change in distance, plus the fact that Portrait mode is trying to focus to the center and the person is probably what is causing the blur in the upper area. Try setting the camera to a regular photo and see what happens. The purpose of Portrait mode is to blur the background and focus on a central subject by changing the f-stop.
