How do I turn off effects on my text messages

I hate it when I hit send and the text goes to pick an effect. How can I turn this off?

iPhone 7, iOS 13

You can't turn it off it is off, so you have to tap the ⬆︎quickly, holding it a little too long turns on the effects.
