Follow all of the steps, at > Change or reset the password of a macOS user account - Apple Support

If you still can't log in with your password, then you will need to contact Apple Support for help.

Restart in the Recovery Partition by holding down Command + R on startup
Open Terminal
Type Resetpassword and follow on-screen prompts.
