download problems from i-tunes

I purchased the Album 'The Livelong Day' by Lankum on 20/01/20. Initially, only 3 tracks downloaded. I went online and re-downloaded the missing 5 songs but I am not allowed to play them. When I select one of these songs I am told I have to authorise this computer in order to play them. I have done this repeatedly, I get a message saying my computer has been successfully re-authorised but, when I try to play the songs, I get the same error message

I had the exact same problem, but it was only happening with certain songs on one album I'd downloaded from the iTunes Store. I deleted the album from my library, then readded it and everything now works fine.

Well, that didn`t work. I deleted the album from my library, went back to the store, but when I selected the album again I'm told I have already purchased it and I-Tunes won`t let me download it again! SO now I've even lost the 3 songs that I was allowed to play. This is very frustrating
