External Hard Drive no longer accessable
I am trying to access all my external hard drives and all of a sudden It says the developer must update their something or other for this to be accessed? Anyone have any ideas?

It sounds like you are using the proprietary software included with your external drive to manage the external drive. You will need to update this proprietary third party software either from within the app or by visiting the product's website to download the most recent version of the drive software. If you are unsure or have any issues, then you will need to contact the manufacturer of your external drive for support.
One way around this is to transfer all the files on the external drive to another location and erase the external drive as GUID partition and MacOS Extended (Journaled) using Disk Utility. This way macOS will manage the drive so this doesn't happen the next time macOS is updated or upgraded.
