Restoring a backup that has ios 13 to an iphone 6

Hello,

My iphone SE was left out in the rain and got water damage and wont turn on. So I wanted to take my older Iphone 6 and restore to it the backup from the SE, but I am unable to since my backup is running IOS 13 and apparently phones older than Iphone 6s dont support it.

Is there any way around this? Can i downgrade my backup so i can restore it or something?

Thank you

iPhone 6, iOS 12

it is incompatible, if an iOS 13 backup was loaded onto an iphone 6 that would brick the device because it can’t handle it. You theoretically could modify the version number in the update file, but that would most likely make it impossible to load it on ANY device. You probably shouldnt take the risk, but thats the best idea I have
