Apple Music on iPad

Can I use all of the apple music’s capabilities if I am using an iPad instead of a Mac ? e.g. changing a songs genre, category, etc.

Using your Apple Music subscription, you should have the same capabilities to listen to music on your iPad as your Mac. However, you can't sync your non-purchased music (i.e., CD you imported to your Mac) using an iPad. You still need a computer for that.
