Remove password from iTunes encrypted backups

Hello everyone, I have na iPhone 6s 128 GB and I often make backups of it on iCloud, but I also intend to start making backups of it more often using iTunes, so I can have a guarantee in case something happens with the backups that are on iCloud.

The problem is that I noticed that my iTunes backups are encrypted and I forgot the password for them. So, all of my previous iTunes backups become useless. I will not be able to restore the iPhone using iTunes with an encrypted backup that I don't remember the password for, correct?

So, I want to ask two questions about this:

1 - How do I reset my iTunes encrypted backups password?

2 - Is there any way to discover the password that I don't remember anymore, from the encrypted backups?

Sorry for any mistakes in my text, English isn't my first language.

Thank you

iPhone 6s
