Keyboard undetected

i am at login page...mouse working but keyboard undetected. Hence unable to type my password to login into my IMac

iMac does not allow me to enter any password in login screen I can get to the login screen and when I move the mouse arrow to the password box, it will change to an input icon. Unable to login to iMac with login credentials. Keyboard is partially unresponsive Hi experts. I has restarted the iMac system. After this, I found that the free characters of the keyboard ( A to L ) is not working any more. Due to which I cannot login to fox the issue. I request someone to kindly help with needed advice. Thanks in anticipation

Try a cheap USB Keyboard.
