Storage of iPhone 11

i upgraded my iPhone (5S) a few months ago to an iphone11 and was paying for extra storage on my previous phone which I have continued to pay with my current phone, however I keep getting reminders now that my storage is full and is asking to upgrade again even though i have checked and it says only 46 GB of 64 GB has been used, dosent this iPhone 11 have a larger storage space anyway? Can anybody clarify the situation please as it’s no longer updating to the cloud? thanks!

The storage you pay for is iCloud storage.

That's totally different from the (internal) space you have on your iPhone.

Your iCloud storage is full. You have to buy more.

Or delete things; so you get more space.

P.S.

If you buy a new iPhone 11 you can choose between 64, 128 or 256 GB.
