I created a shared album from my iMac; which can only be seen on my iPhone but not my family's iPhone/iPad. When I cross checked my iCloud storage, there does not seems to have any usage. Any idea what setting I'm missing? Thanks.

Shared albums are not stored in your iCloud space. They are hosted by Apple elsewhere on iCloud.
