How can I turn off find my Mac, but it’s completely dead?
I am taking my iMac in for service and want to be sure I have Find My Mac turned off. I have deselected it in the Enable Location Services pane in the Security & Privacy/System Preferences. Will that take care of it?
Try logging on to icloud.com and then removing your device completely from your icloud using the web page of icloud.
Turning location service off, doesn’t mean your “find my” device is off. As I posted earlier try to follow my steps and turn it off properly.
