EtreCheck is a simple little diagnostic tool to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac. It will not display any personal info.
Pastebin is a good place to paste the whole report if you capture the URL while there…
Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts...
Basics for Uninstalling Software
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them at the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. If you cannot find the uninstaller then you could download the freeware, Easy Find, to locate files that need to be removed. The places you need to search include:
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
There are many utilities that can uninstall applications. Here is a selection:

I tried the specific recommendations you offered as well as some of the uninstall applications. Hazel image loaded, but not the software. Others said they were free, but weren't. I stuck with just putting Clean My Mac in the trash and emptying it. This won't solve my access to the third-part database it damaged and I can't even get it reinstalled from my back-up disk. I think there is truly something very significant damaged in my MacBook Pro in general. I may have to erase the entire hard drive and start from scratch. Thanks for your effort.
Unfortunately Easy Find link doesn't work. https://www.devontechnologies.com/products/freeware.html
I'm starting with your other suggestions. Will report back. Thanks.
Here is a link for Easy Find that does work. Thank you for alerting me to the bad link. I will fix it ASAP.
