Can Apple charger cables be used interchangeably? I have two USB C chargers, one for my Macbook and another for my iPad. Can I swap between the cables? I know the adapters aren't interchangeable, which is why I'd like to use the shorter (iPad) cable for my laptop and the longer for my tablet to better suit my desk layout.

Yes, the "Duck Head" portion is interchangeable.
