Whit's End - Calls going straight to VM

I'm at my whit's end and I'm desperately hoping someone can help.

I have an Iphone 11 Pro Max. It has worked flawlessly. But approximately a week ago, all my calls started going straight to voicemail :

  • Do Not Disturb is OFF.
  • I did a clean install of IOS earlier today. Interestingly enough, I was able to receive a call immediately after the reset. Calls started going back to VM after that initial success.
  • I'm running 13.5.1 with auto updates
  • If it makes a difference, my carrier is Verizon
  • Ringer is on & volume is maxed.
  • I'm using Wifi calling

Most importantly, the phone had been working perfectly up to this problem.

Truly hoping someone has some ideas. Thanks.

Check Settings>Phone>Silence Unknown Callers.

Turn that off if it's on.

Are you seeing the missed calls in your call log at all?

If not, that's an indication that the calls never actually made it to your phone. That's something you'll have to take up with Verizon.
