How do I "restore" my legacy (model A1137) ipod. Tried on-line and support person at Apple. No joy.

Are you using Mac or Windows? Try Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support. If you get stuck following the directions what step you get stuck on?
