turn ON activation lock? I haven't seen that question much.. Most people are asking how to circumvent activation lock ha ha

Enable Find My iPhone in iCloud.

That is not correct, just signing in will not do so, they have to go into iCloud settings on their iPhone and activate Find My iPhone.
